Obama and Tiffatul Sembiring
What is the relationship between Obama's Visit and Tiffatul Sembiring -Indonesia minister of Communication and Information??
The answer is that there is no such as strong relationship between both of them. But an accidental event happened to Tiffatul, and it became a rumour ion Twitter (I dont know why this social network could be a good source of news for high class media such as The Washington Post).
Ok, here is the story begun:
Tifatul made a hand shake with Michelle Obama where in many Ocassions tifatul is reluctant for making hand shake with women (one of the interpretations about interaction rule with opposite sex in Islam is "we're not allowed to touch the opposite sex", but some people hold this interpretation based on their faith whether some of them are not).
Because hand shaking with opposite sex is not really usual for Tiffatul, then there was a woman who paid attention toward his behaviour and asking tifatul about this on Twitter. Then, the story continued when Tiffatul answered it through joking, he said that "he tried to avoid Mrs. Michelle hand by hold his hand but, unfortunately Mrs.Michelle already gave her hand and their hand were shaked" --> then we can said is as coincident event.
After Tiffatul gave a feedback comment on his twitter, there were so many responses from his followers. And eventually, this presedence became popular at that time and had caused the international media's attention. One of the international media was Washington Post which published their article 9th November at 12.49 PM ClickHere . They published their news several hours after this rumour became popular on Twitter.
In my humble opinion, I don't really agree with Washington Post choice to create this article. I mean that this rumour didn't make any sense to be published in such as popular media like Washington Post.
Anyway, the story still continued because the tiffatul's hand shake accident will not stop until here. As this news had became global, every people around the world knows about this news. One of the prove that I just got from twitter is that Vicky vette who is famous norwegian porn star also contribute to this issue by giving her comment to Tiffatul. I'll mention her twitter here:

2.@tifsembiring :Do you like it fast, slow, with a firm grip or maybe by both hands?
3. @tifsembiring :Hmm..I wanna get "handy" with Indo's Information Minister.
After reading her tweets to tiffatul, I could not stop laughing. My mind goes to think how could tiffatul became such a magnet to a porn star like Vicky. For your information, this is not the first time that Vicky Vette really interests with Indonesian News, a couple months ago Vicky also stated on her twitter about Ariel Peterpan related to his Pornography Scandal.
I think that this unique case (or silly case) only happened in Indonesia. I don't think what others people think about my country, but overall I also feel that sometimes medias are just too overreacted to unimportant news like this.
At the end of this story, I can conclude that social networks such as twitter can be a cross border source for news and connecting people directly around the world.

I am really embarrassed knowing that this dismal and shameful thing came out to international public..Moreover, regarding the actor; it's a minister, for f*ck's sake!!!
Yes,,it is a shame presedence in political communication. Tiffatul just does not understand how to communicate well in public especially since he gave his statement on Twitter.
I already fixed it, anyway..
